Welcome

Welcome to the Thames Valley District School Board's English as a Second Language site.
Courses in ESL (English as a Second Language) are designed to meet the needs of adult learners whose first language is not English, regardless of the length of time in Canada. They are offered in many locations throughout the city and at different times in addition to the ESL program at Wheable. Classes can be full-time or part-time, mornings, afternoons or evenings. Continuous intake and limited child care are available in some programs. Classes range from beginning level literacy to university/college preparation, including language and skills competency. Partnerships with the community enhance the adult ESL services co-ordinated through the Wheable Centre.
