TK Assembly

Each month students at Lord Elgin focus on a different social skill. Each class displays posters outlining the social skill that students try to follow. Different classes present the social skill for the month in a short skit or presentation. Students that are successful at modeling the social skill for the month get nominated and two students per class/ per month get selected to be TERRIFIC KIDS. They are recognized and honoured at our monthly TK Assembly. We also recognize academic excellence at this assembly. Our friends from the Kiwanis Club provide the awards and come to our assembly each month. Here are some past award winners.

Lord Elgin Students awarded a Prize from the Health Unit's own Erin Wilcox from the Turn Off The Screen's Week Campaign. Lord Elgin placed in the top 20% of participating schools across Thames Valley.
